Don Fernwalt

Don is the 2020 President of Arizona Cowboy Poet Gathering and 2018 Gail I. Gardner Award winning poet.  He recently authored his Cowboy Poet Book, Straight from the Saddle, which will be available for purchase within the next couple months. He has entertained from camp fires to convents, back yards to Amphitheaters.  A horseman since the age of seven, Don is still training horses and living the life he loves.

He will entertain you with his original poetry as well as the traditional and classic poems.  His selection of humorous and thought provoking material will touch your heart, leave you laughing and thinking of a time when the cowboy was king. 

Linda Lee Filener, Jim Walkley, Joe Konkel, Tom Walker

A group dedicated to preserving our Western culture through music of the cowboy, rancher and the West.  It’s belief is that music should be used for the good of the community and payback comes in the form of improving the lives of others.  Members are: Linda Lee Filener, guitar and vocals, recording artist and a long time ranch girl with a love for cowboy music. Joe Konkel, vocals and multi-instrumentalist, a life-long horseman and historian on local ranching and cowboy music. Tom Walker, bones, spoons, and harmonica, active in the promotion of cowboy music and poetry. Jim Walkley, bass guitar, who throughout his life, has had a passion for cowboy life, horses, and team roping (and he’s pretty good at it too!).  Joe and Tom also serve on the Board of Directors for the Arizona Cowboy Poets Gathering in Prescott.

Rusty Pistols Reloaded (formerly Rusty Pistols Cowboy Band) with Bob Wood as lead singer and also playing rhythm guitar and harmonic, Duane Steinbrink playing lead guitar and back-up singer, Donn Pease playing bass and back-up singer.  Suzi Killman is the newest member of the band and is also a lead singer and plays rhythm guitar. The band will continue to promote the life, legend and songs of the American Cowboy.
